There are some things that you should be reminded of if you want to be sure that your pan’s nonstick surface will last for a long time. For instance, it will be wise to use plastic, silicon, wood utensils or rubber. Despite the fact that scratches do not affect nonstick properties, there’s a possibility that they may disfigure the surface so make sure to avoid metal or any type of sharp objects to cook with your nonstick pan.
After each use, make sure to follow it up with a thorough cleaning. Here, you need to wash it using warm water with mild detergent but wash it well enough to be able to remove oil residue.
